LOL — I am debating on going to my reunion, honestly, because I keep in touch with so many friends through Facebook! All three articles were great. Good excuse to start planning my next vacation :)

It’s interesting about Facebook and reunions. I agree that nothing beats face-to-face communication and nostalgia, but I wonder if a generation that grows up with Facebook will feel the same way. If nothing else, reunions offer a golden opportunity for hooking up with an old flame, and the web can never replace that…

It will be interesting to see what happens!

When my internet went down due to a storm this week, I took it as a sign that I needed a break! Lucky for us, you have a good reading stack :-)

Facebook will give some people their “fix” of old college friends, but I think that reunions are about more than just catching up with people for many alumni. Revisiting old stomping grounds, experiencing a sporting event or showing children around a campus will probably still be strong draws for many people. I do love that Facebook offers the opportunity to connect without much effort, though!
