I’m always on the lookout for interesting sites for young professionals, and I recently learned about Qvisory.org. I thought it might appeal to some readers. When I checked out the site, I was most interested in the Pacts section, where members of the community support each other in goals such as saving money, losing weight and not eating in front of the computer. They are also doing some interesting advocacy work.
Here is information Qvisory provided to me:
Qvisory is an independent non-profit that seeks to help young Americans succeed in this rapidly changing economy. Our [free] blogs provide expert advice from some of the top experts in the blogosphere and we offer [paid] memberships that include tools that will help you achieve your work, money, and health goals. Very cool. Thanks for the recommendation Lindsey. I checked to see if they have any entry-level job openings or internships that I might feature, but didn’t see anything appropriate listed.
By the way, I’m using Safari on my Mac, and the fields for Name, Mail, and Website don’t show up in your comments form. I can click them and fill them out, but they’re white just like the background. I realized that I could click them, but it might keep others from commenting. Just a heads up.
