I watched the video and really agreed with your points. Looking online is a good place to start but making that personal connection is always much better. Remember that you can always volunteer at local non-profit and charitable companies where you can network and meet possible employers. Tell all your friends and family that you are looking for work as well – as they might provide leads for you.

This blog post had me thinking about a dilemma I currently have– I’m a 2008 grad and I was recently offered a summer internship that pays minimum wage with no other benefits. Do you think taking another internship after I just finished one last March is a good move? I have no other offers, but I see that lots of opportunities are opening up in the job market right now. I have a marketing background and I’m looking for a marketing-related full-time position. This internship is in market research.
