Gas prices are rising, food costs are rising, airline fees are rising. Luckily, job posting is on sale!
DowntownWomensClub.com (DWC), has partnered with Indeed.com to offer a “recession special” price for job postings on the organization’s brand new job board: $30 for a 30-day posting through the end of the summer. And, you don’t have to be a member of DWC — or even a woman — to enjoy this deal.
If you are job searching, it’s free to use the DWC job board to find opportunities. Check out the new job board here.
In addition to adding a national job board, DWC has redesigned its entire website to better help businesswomen create their dream careers. As a DWC member and contributor, here are some of the site features I recommend:
Local Clubs – If you’re looking for a networking event that combines serious networking with serious fun, stop by a DWC event in your area.
Discussion Forums – DWC’s discussion boards are a great place to find interesting business opportunities and event listings across the country.
The Women’s DISH Blog – The Dish features posts from savvy women bloggers on a wide variety of topics.

@David Myers – Thanks for the comment. If you have the time and energy to register, post a resume and actively participate in all 10 job boards, then go for it. Probably a better idea would be to choose the ones that feel the most helpful to you. And don’t forget to network with people in real life too!

If I am looking for a job, should I register on all of these?
@Maggie -
Thanks for the comment. I’m also a huge fan of the DWC — so many online resources if you feel like networking in your pajamas.

It’s great you’re getting the word out there Lindsey about all the resources people can use to get their careers on track. I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve recommend Downtown Women’s Club on my weekly radio segment on Martha Stewart Radio on SIRIUS. There are chapters all over the country and the opportunity to network virtually. There’s no reason not to be a part of it!
Thanks for the great offer, Diane!
