    CSR is going to be huge in coming years. After all recent polls show that new graduates place nearly equal importance on the CSR position of company as they do for starting salary. Very promising for the future in my opinion.

    Echo on the expanding internship opportunities as well. More and more graduate level students are taking advantage of upper level internships during their studies. In addition to many new grads taking internship positions straight out of there four year programs. Internship programs have turned into an efficient sourcing tool and companies are definitely taking note.

    Interesting post. I think one of the biggest impacts of Gen Y will be in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility. I’m increasingly seeing graduates demanding that companies demonstrate to *them* that they have good values and ethics, and that the job in question will enable the graduate to express their socio-political sensibilities through work.

    I absolutely agree with Point #2 (and all of them for that matter). As Gen-Y becomes more relevant and dominant in the workplace, I think we will see traditional business hours start to disappear. Not completely, because our basic services (i.e. banks) will still need to hold certain hours but the strict 9-5 day will soon be irrelevant.
