We just came from three job/internships fairs and this is a very big issue. It’s truly amazing how short some students sell themselves because they don’t think that they have had “real world” experience. You’re being based on your academics and involvement and need to show the employer how this has been beneficial to you and how you can apply it to the company. My biggest pet peeve though when someone comes to the table to inquire about an internship and I ask why they want it and they don’t have a clear and concise answer…

As I’ve been recently searching for a new job, I have been feeling exactly that. Although I have valuable experience, I keep thinking that it isn’t enough. This article makes me rethink my time abroad and work that may be more relevant then I first thought. Can’t wait for the next article!
